About Sharonda Jackson

Sharonda Jackson Bell is a Gulf Coast native, wife, and proud mother of two. Her passion for healthcare began during her four years of service in the United States Air Force, where she worked in aeromedical evacuation. Caring for patients during medical transport inspired her to pursue a career in nursing.

Sharonda earned her nursing degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and has built a diverse nursing career spanning critical care, oncology, cardiology, behavioral health, and travel nursing. These experiences provided a strong clinical foundation while helping her discover that her true calling was in mental health.

Motivated by a desire to make a lasting impact in patients' lives, Sharonda returned to graduate school to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care that empowers individuals to achieve greater emotional wellness and improve their quality of life.

Through her work, Sharonda also became passionate about the therapeutic potential of medical cannabis. After witnessing its positive impact on patients' lives, including improved symptom management, reduced reliance on certain medications, and enhanced daily functioning, she earned her Medical Cannabis Provider Certification. She is committed to educating patients about safe, individualized treatment options and helping them determine whether medical cannabis may be an appropriate part of their overall care plan.

Sharonda believes in treating the whole person and strives to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, respected, and supported on their journey toward better mental and physical health.
